Your Missing Semester of
Engineering

The curriculum doesn't teach the skills you need to survive today, and the tech world isn't waiting. This is the space where students build, create, and stay ahead.

Students building together in a workshop
By Students, For Students

"A lab where cooler stuff actually gets built."

We're UCT students who got tired of waiting for the curriculum to catch up. Chevo Collective was our answer: not a lab or physical makerspace, but a student-led platform to learn, meet other builders, and work on projects outside a set curriculum. From personal AI agents, to drones, rovers, or any project that interests you, it's a place to connect with other students and start building without waiting for a guide or assessment.
